In this presentation, after a short review of the principal operation and advantages of high temperature superconductive ultra wide band bolometric and Josephson Junction based detectors, and SQUIDs, the development and characteristics of the devices will be discussed. The high temperature superconductive bolometric and JJ based detectors for operation in wide band applications from optical to microwave and sub-millimeter waves have been designed and fabricated using superconductive YBCO thin films. The films have been developed by a combination of magnetron sputtering and/or MOD techniques on various engineered crystalline substrates such as SrTiO3 and LaAlO3 substrates. Then after a short review of developed microwave devices the fabrication of background magnetic field insensitive rf- SQUIDs which can be used in combination with the detectors will be presented. At the end also a very short overview of the Superconductive Electronics Research Laboratory (SERL) at Sharif University of Technology will be given.
