On Friday, the Tyrolean provincial government awarded Francesca Ferlaino the Tyrolean Order of the Eagle in Gold. This award is presented to individuals who share a close bond with Tyrol and who, through their dedication, have contributed to the province’s development in their own way.

Torsten Zache leads new junior group 06.05.2026

Theoretical physicist Torsten Zache joined IQOQI Innsbruck as junior group leader at the beginning of the year. Zache is also an assistant professor at the Institute for Theoretical Physics at the University of Innsbruck. He received an ERC Starting Grant for his research on quantum simulations of lattice gauge theories.
