in the IQOQI research groups , which are jointly affiliated with the Institute for Experimental Physics or the Institute for Theoretical Physics of the University of Innsbruck.

Successful candidates will be invited to carry out research within a PhD thesis project at the forefront of quantum science. In addition to the general requirements listed below, project-specific requirements and tasks will be clarified in individual cases.

Your profile:

  • Diploma or Master’s degree physics or related discipline
  • Master or diploma thesis in quantum science preferred
  • Fulfillment of the official requirements for PhD students of the University of Innsbruck
  • Excellent English skills

We offer an annual gross salary of € 30.273,60 before taxes, according to the salary scale of the Austrian Science Fund (FWF)..
