Your profile:

  • Planning and implementation of quantum physics experiments with superconducting circuits
  • Analysis of experimental results and the writing of scientific publications
  • Tutoring of bachelor and master students
  • Attendance of workshops and conferences with poster presentations and talks
  • Support of the group with administrative tasks

Your profile:

  • Master's degree in physics with excellent academic record
  • Experience with carrying out quantum physics experiments with superconducting circuits
  • Experience with experimental techniques to characterize superconducting qubits like cryostats and microwave setups
  • Practical cleanroom and micro fabrication experience such as electron beam lithography, metal evaporation,
  • Experience in data analysis and numerical techniques for simulating quantum dynamics
  • Strong background in quantum optics, quantum control and quantum information
  • Excellent verbal and written English skills
  • Ability to work in a team and to present scientific results to the community

We offer an annual gross salary of € 32.297,58 before taxes based on the salary scheme of the Austrian Academy of Sciences.
