I will describe our recent studies of strongly interacting ultracold Fermi gases in two and three dimensions. In 3D we have measured the local (homogeneous) density-density response function at unitarity using spatially resolved Bragg spectroscopy. This has allowed us to see an in situ signature of pair condensation when the gas crosses the superfluid transition. We have also prepared Fermi gases in a single highly oblate 2D trapping potential with aspect ratios exceeding 200. We will present our progress towards measurements of the thermodynamic equation of state for 2D Fermi gas at a range of interaction strengths.
