Ground state properties of one single impurity immersed into an uniform 3D BEC

We investigate the ground state properties of a neutral impurity immersed into a Homogeneous dilute 3D Bose Gas.The interaction between bosons have been modeles as Hard sphere with scattering length a_{B}, whereas the interaction between the impurity and the bosons are modeled by using an attractive square-well potential where by changing the depth of the the well one can access to different values of the scattering length b (scattering length impurity -Bosons). The chemical potential and the effective mass have been studied by means of Diffusion Monte Carlo (DMC) for both attractive and repulsive interaction between impurity and bosons
